The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

But what no one has mentioned is that the Texans had all 3 of their timeouts. So there’s at least some thoughtfulness behind the decision.
They were playing to get a first down and avoid the exact fate that ultimately befell them. Texans just executed a long FG well. [Reply]
This was insanely brutal. There is no legitimate reason to throw the ball three straight times, game tied, backed up in your own endzone, when the other team has their timeouts left.
Run the ball and force Houston to use those timeouts.
McDermitt, or whoever is calling those plays, just went completely brain dead. [Reply]

In all seriousness, they should have sprinkled in at least one run there. Two runs and a safe pass would have been pretty standard there. One run, one safe pass and a standard drop back would have been defensible. Three straight standard drop backs from your own end zone is difficult to agree with, even having Josh Allen at QB. [Reply]
