Nzoner's Game Room>The Bills take the AFC this seasom
JustDíqLix 05:53 PM 08-21-2023
Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

It's turns out that yeah, it's not a good idea to build an offense around low percentage sideline fades. Expecting a rookie to win contested catches all game long is insane. Shakir and Kincaid are the only weapons they have that can separate at all.

Remember when they lost to the Jets and the big narrative coming out of that was the concussion, despite how he didn't play great before that..... yeah, we can just copy/paste for this game, too.

He had a terrible game - one in which i’m pretty sure he played with a concussion - against the best defense in the NFL.

Mahomes had a terrible 3 pick game against the Broncos last season.

It happens.

There was one game where he looked barely conscious after a hit but they never pulled him out and the league spotter didn’t appear to notice. His eyes were gone.

Allen runs a lot so he gets hit a lot more.

Here is the clip from last nights game where i’m pretty sure he was temporarily unconscious and concussed. Look at his eyes. He is OUT.

Burrow had FIVE turnovers in Week 1 last season and was minutes from sending KC packing again.

Bills and Allen will be back on track in no time.

heart breaker for the mafia. Guy who lives down the hill had the "Billieve" flag flying since Thursday, drove by his house right after game. He was taking the flag down. Had my Chiefs hat on. waved. he acted like he did not see me and turned the other way.

I was at a family thing and missed this one. Just reading the box score and play by play, did Buffalo completely shit the bed at the end?

Stays look like Buffalo ran the ball decently, but decided to not run at all at the end?

They probably could’ve ran out the clock on Houston tied to force OT, but all those incomplete passes allowed Houston to keep their timeouts and barely have a chance to win it?

Or am I reading that wrong?

They called three straight passes (all incomplete), game tied up, from like their own 4 yard line with 20 seconds left.

I don’t want to exaggerate, but it’s probably the dumbest coaching decision I can remember seeing in years. It just made no legitimate sense.

lol wtf.

It sounded ridiculous reading it, but figured maybe I was missing the full context.

Josh Allen recorded the lowest completion percentage (30.0%) in a game with at least 30 pass attempts in the last 30 seasons, per @ESPNStatsInfo
