Today, the Kansas City Chiefs complete the greatest five-year run in NFL history by winning the third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, and the fourth in the franchise's glorious history.

But yea I have had some pretty frustrating sports viewer moments in my life and I have never wanted to damage something in my own home. Crazy.
Yeah, I’m sure many are fake but I’ve grown up around enough dudes who smashed video game controllers and punched walls in anger to know that the number of TVs legitimately trashed out of frustration that night was not zero. [Reply]
I've seen TVs broken over video games so ya grown ass men do break them over football. Have you guys never seen how drunk and pissed off fools are after losses at Arrowhead?
Most are fake though but they're obvious. The real ones don't get magically recorded. [Reply]

I didnt know filming yourself watching a game was a thing until the first Chiefs/niners SB.
Just seems weird to me. But I am not an attention whore. [Reply]

Knowing a few 49er fans I am guessing not all of them are fake. I am sure some are staged for clicks, but I am thinking there are more broken TV's in the Bay area than normal.
And if you think about it, this is the 2nd loss to the Chiefs under much the same situation. Up by 10 at one point.....and lose at the end of the game/falter in the 2nd half. [Reply]

I hope these videos out there are planned and fake. I can't imagine being a grown ass man and getting so mad at a football game. To break the god damn television. In a party setting in front of other people. Embarrassing.... [Reply]

The 2003 AlCS about drove me to my breaking point. [Reply]

I watched a normally tranquil person throw a remote at the TV during a college football game....nothing surprises me anymore.
Rage is more prevalent anymore. Wanna see? Try driving across the Buckman Bridge late afternoon in Jacksonville...
Spott can confirm how weird and angry people can be and that is with cars and trucks. Not too hard to think that many of them would break a TV they can replace for $400 or less if you think how careless they are with cars and trucks. [Reply]

It really doesn't surprise me anymore. You're right. I have a Chiefs license plate holder (and I live out of state) and a couple times have had people come up right on my ass and honk. One time I look back and see some slobbering moron who is just steaming mad yelling. :-) Get a grip people. It's just a game. [Reply]

I actually worry about it more than I should... not that it really changes my behavior as I still wear Chiefs stuff, but wonder if it would trigger people enough to run their key across your car in the parking lot as they walk by or bump their door into yours, or other non-car related things.
And then I figure dicks will always find something to be triggered about, so it probably doesn't matter much at the end of the day. [Reply]

I live in the Tampa area and also have a license plate frame (and just ordered my Back to Back one!) and I periodically check to see if anyone has defaced it or tried to tear it off. [Reply]

It's not that it's Bucs fans, just anti-Chiefs stuff in general. I've had no problems yet, I'm just paranoid about it, especially as we keep winning SBs and I see more hatred for Chiefs on social media. Only takes one nut to ruin your day. [Reply]

Why the Chiefs hats in TB??? Seems so weird. [Reply]

I have rarely had anyone say anything about my Chiefs stuff on my truck.
They hate the Packers more.
Patriots ushered this in. Doug Flutey went on record claiming that they were speaking into the QB's headset well after they were supposed too (tipping off the QB on defensive assignments), video tapping, messing with the footballs, jamming communications, "tuck rule".
"“He was amazed that the coaches kept right on speaking to Brady past the 15-second cutoff, right up until the snap,” *according to O’Leary.“The voice in Tom Brady’s helmet was explaining the exact defense he was about to face.”" [Reply]
