Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I mean it didn't ruin Brodie Croyle on a rainy afternoon at Arrowhead playing against the Jaguars that we were getting our shit caved in for four quarters with Damon Huard at quarterback an Larry Johnson running up Casey Weigmann ass and slipping in the mud.
It was garbage time the Jags were up 30 something and we were still had a goose egg on the score board with lil over 5 minutes to play. They put Brodie in a series and meh that drive he started out ok but IIRC a WR fumbled and Jags got the ball back. Then we got the ball back with less than two minutes and Brodie started drive the field made some nice plays. With :03 seconds on the clock and poring rain in front of 100's and I mean 100's of drenched fans Brodie threw for a touchdown keeping the Chiefs from having zilch points on the score.
I was there when it happened. So playing garbage time isn't going ruin a quarterback unless he is a pussy and would be broken anyways.
Maybe it's just best we find out so we don't have to waist years wondering ? [Reply]
Brodie Croyle threw a touchdown against the Jaguars in garbage time that we were getting our ass raped in. They kept the starters in because they didn't want us to score.

Period.
So there is a chance PM II plays even if he is 3rd string a good chance Smith gets concussed and misses 3 games and we have to depend on Tyler fucking Bray. Tyler Bray can get hurt and we would have to go to Patrick Mahomes II. Unless they find a better backup than Tyler Bray during preseason.
I'm not saying Patrick should get to play I'm saying possibilities that he could play this very season. Besides Patrick Mahomes II has a good chance of beating out Tyler Bray during preseason so that would make him back up to concussion prone Alex Smith. [Reply]
