He really is, but sometimes I wonder...The difference is that Hef thinks he's smart, which makes him even more of an idiot. KnowMo knows he's an idiot and rolls with it. [Reply]

I guess it depends on how you define shit.
Yes, SEA had a bad team last year, some of that was due to talent and other was injuries.
Regarding the last 'year and a half' and he's declined.
Since 2020 (2 seasons)
- Wilson is 8th in passing TDs (65 - Mahomes had 75)
- Wilson is 16th in INTs (19 and Mahomes had 19)
- Wilson ranked 13th in passing yards (7.3k - Mahomes 9.6k)
Wilson started 30 games compared to Mahomes 32 in the last 2 seasons. Aside from passing yards, they're not that wildly off.
In 2020, where Wilson played in 14 games compared to 17 for Mahomes.
- Mahomes had 4,839 yards / 37 TDs / 13 INTs
- Wilson had 3,113 yards / 25 TDs / 6 INTs
That's like a 60 YDP avg passing yards per game difference.
2.17 TD PG vs 1.78
.7 INTS PG vs .4
If I just took your comments for fact, yeah I would think that Wilson looked like Daniel Jones in 2021.
No, SEA didn't win much, but it's not like Wilson was the root cause.
**Edit**
No, I do not see Wilson as a savior that will all of a sudden transform Denver into a 14-3 juggernaut.
Yes, I do think he was the best available option and far being on a decline.
Can he take Denver to the SB? Well, not in a single season. There's excitement about his addition for a reason and it's valid. For those that think Denver traded for a QB that equates to Flacco Part II... I believe you will be surprised. [Reply]

"Aside from yards"....JFC it was a chasm difference [Reply]
Denver has less talent than Seattle....especially at WR. Russ decline in play was the biggest reason they were bad last year and the playoffs the year prior [Reply]

If we’re just going by numbers, Cousins was elite last year and right there with Mahomes. I don’t think anyone thinks that’s the case.
“Shit” is obviously an exaggeration, but there’s no denying that there was a huge drop off after teams started giving him a lot of 2 deep looks. And he was shit in that playoff game.
His comments about carrying Seattle are unbelievable. That franchise carried him for years. And where has he “carried them” to lately? [Reply]

I don’t know enough about Seattle’s roster to say, but there’s no denying some of the statistical similarities. Practically identical in rushing yds, pass block win rate, and opponents’ yards per play. And Seattle’s receiver duo is clearly superior to Jeudy and Sutton.
Plus they now have the TE that Denver fans claimed was on a path to equaling Kelce (since the trade, of course, his potential has lowered drastically) and one of the Broncos’ top defensive players. [Reply]

Have you seen how accurate about Denver I've been over the years? Ask TEX and if he was honest....knowmo. There's been some years I've nailed how their ENTIRE season would go. [Reply]

Just wasn't sure if all of it was sincere of if you were messing with him.
I won't be surprised if their offense is underwhelming, or if he's frustrated with his receivers. I'm pretty sure he's going to miss throwing to Metcalf and Lockett.
Reality's going to set in that it wasn't as bad there as he thought. [Reply]
