It's an obvious personal preference on the ratio. [Reply]

Ok. So you're just saying make a big batch of the mixture. People add their own beer. Nice idea to take mixture in pitcher to a party. I'll try your recipe out sometime. [Reply]
Took a buddy to Springfield. My favorite Thai food in the Ozarks is up there, but they are closed on Sunday. Got a recommendation awhile back to try another one. They loaded me the fuck up with Pad Thai, and Massaman Curry. The Pad Thai can wait. This delicious red curry has me gobbling it right the fuck up. Best I've ever had.

First time. Far and away the best curry I've ever had. :-)
And when they figured out that I knew Thai food and was very picky about it, they took it as a personal challenge to give me their best. And way too fucking much of it. Lady rubbed my damn belly when she handed me the bag. She said "You eat very good tonight!" :-)

God bless em...
It's the one thing my local Thai place does that I haven't been able to get even close to. I've tried a dozen times to make it. Tried multiple times to get the place to give me the recipe. The closest I've gotten is them offering to sell me just the sauce by the quart. [Reply]
Oh, and she loaded me up on free Thai teas while I waited. They won me over. Just the service alone was top shelf. I felt like family and beloved. The other place is a nice guy, but these guys just rolled out the red carpet. One of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant and it was take out!
Springfieldians, check out Thai Peppers. They're fucking amazing. [Reply]

God, I could just eat it over rice for days and days. [Reply]

Me too. My place always is chicken and potatoes and onions with sauce, garnished with a few cashews. Rice on the side. I always eat the chicken and potatoes by themselves, then dump the rice in the sauce. That dish is all about the sauce for me. [Reply]

This place and the other mixes the curry in the ingredients and then gives you the rice on the side. I'll have to try it that way sometime. [Reply]

Love Thai curry dishes better than Indian curry. The red chili with coconut milk curries are my favorite [Reply]
