Does the number matter if he continues to own you and the rest of the league?

Fine. He put up 92 catches for 1125 yards and 9 TD’s last year. His 6th straight 1000 yard season.

How do YOU feel about DangeRuss turning 34 and coming off his worst statistical season in 6 years?

The Horseshit continues....

Wilson has never had "elite scheme/play-calling with high-end talent"

Yep..."high-end" talent that had zero players in the top 100...at least Metcalf came in at 66. I guess 2 combined TDs from your starting pair of WRs is now "High end" in Walton world.

"Elite" scheme from a rookie coaching staff...I mean Carrol did coach USC to 3 national championship games ...and two SBs in Seattle...he's got nothing on this Hackett guy.

These people are outright lying at this point...

And joining a team with worse receivers and a comparable OL. Oh no!

No way...ESPN says they are the 4th best OL in the NFL...despite being 27th in sacks per QB dropback. Do you even use logic, dude...5th worst in sacks translates as 4th best over-all when a Walton buys your team. It's a simple formula...$4.6 billion + media compliance = overnight improvement.

34 is a fine age for a QB, but yes, I hope that he does not get injured like he was last year.

33 is getting up there for a TE.

Those accomplishments just don't stack up to coordinating one solid offense and 4 shitty ones in Buf/Jax, followed by three years of picking his nose while the HC called plays for Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

How old was Shannon Sharpe? Or Tony Gonzalez? Or Antonio Gates? Or Jason Witten? H6
e doesnt seem to be slowing down, I'm betting he has at least 2-3 good years left in him.

Not only that...he was hired because of the potential for Rodgers going to Denver...not to invent a new system for Wilson.

A system that he has to make work with what ever players they already had in house...

Sure, let's ignore his mediocrity over the last season and a half (when teams adjusted to "letting Russ cook").

12-11 record. 216 passing yards/game. 1.7 TDs/game.

His one playoff game: 174 yds, 40.7% comp, 5 sacks, double digit loss.

Sharpe’s last 1000 yard season was at 29, his last 10 TD season was at 30.
Gates’ last 1000 yard season was also at 29, his last 10 TD season was at 34.
Witten’s last 1000 yard season was at 30, he never had a 10 TD season (8 TDs at 31)
Olsen’s last 1000 yard season was at 31, he also never had a 10 TD season (7 TDs at 30)
If he stays retired, Gronk’s last 1000 yard season was at 28, and his last 10 TD season was at 26.
Gonzalez’s last 1000 yard season and his last 10 TD season were the same season, when he was 32.

33 is pretty old for a TE.

It's pretty dumb to predict a sudden and dramatic decline for a player who is still the best in the game. If he were 37, that would be one thing. At 32, he probably still has at least a couple really good years left, followed by a few more decent years.

They're praying hard for it though. :-)

Interesting that they're not concerned about all the analysts who are pointing out Wilson's declining athleticism.

Sharpe only had a few 1000 yd seasons. Kelce does it every year.

So we can't compare QB stats from different eras, but we can compare TEs? Just trying to follow BroncoLogic™.

At 32, Elway threw 10 TDs and 17 INTs. He probably should have called it quits.

Did I say any of that? I was responding to a comment about how the loss of Hill didn’t matter because KC’s offense runs through Kelce like how NE’s offense ran through Welker.
