The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Same thing with Bills & Texans. It's a win-win from my perspective. Houston's division is a joke, so I'm in favor of Houston losing as many non-divisional games as the football gods will allow. I'm rooting for Baltimore to put a chink in the armor for Buffalo, but I would not mind seeing the Ravens drop to a 1-3 record. [Reply]
The Bills are an automatic W for us in the playoffs.
It is frustrating seeing Mahomes removed from MVP consideration a 2nd year in a row with a not fully functional offense but this current team's concern is winning the SB, not padding September stats. [Reply]

Brady "only" has 3 MVP's but he has 7 rings. And I think Brady would give up the 3 MVP's to win 3 more rings. I think Mahomes would give up his 2 MVP's if he could have 2 more rings as well. [Reply]

See 2022.
But I think those guys would gladly make the trade. And generally speaking, the MVP is a bad luck omen for winning rings. There was like a 20 year gap between Kurt Warner & Mahomes both winning MVP & ring in the same season. [Reply]

Irrelevant what they would do.
That's not how it works.
Being a shittier team in the regular season doesn't make you a better playoff team with a few exceptions such as resting players late (if you have home field sewn up) or load managing vets like Kelce.
Bad Luck is not a thing. Mahomes just won both in a year 2 years ago. [Reply]

Yes it does. But unfortunately, he's not playing well enough to be considered. [Reply]

Brady would give up all three for one more SB win. Same with Patrick of his two. They both know rings and almost nothing else are how most people measure greatness. [Reply]
I'm looking forward to Baltimore vs. Buffalo. Could be one hell of a fireworks show if both QB's bring their A-game. We kind of saw that yesterday with Cincy & Washington. I would like to see Josh Allen & Lamar Jackson deliver a really good shootout for the audience. [Reply]
