Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.
Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.

I think the way that course was set up, there was no way to make a run. Par golf was great golf on those greens. Looked like British open with tougher greens. Americans aren't used to putting from 100 feet off the pin. [Reply]
I thought it was great to for Wie to win the Womens US Open. Men and women she's my favorite pro right now.
On another note I played Eagle Creek at the Down Stream Casino this past sunday and it was in great shape. Back in the late 70's /early 80's my buddies and I would drive down there from Springfield and play. It was called Loma Linda back then and it was a cool place to play but a little rough. Now it's awesome. I didn't play particularly well although I did drive it pretty well. Just missed to many greens and to many par putts. And when I did miss the fairway I was punished. It was a tournament though and in the weak field I came out on top. That's wins in my last two starts. Back to back! I got a nice trophy and some greenbacks.
Next tourney is at Rivercut here in Springfield in about three weeks. It's going to be back to back to back. [Reply]
Just pay $30 a month and get access to the courses listed? I mean is it play whenever you want or do they restrict you to certain days and times?
Seems like a good deal to me even if the courses may not be the best...my nephew plays a bunch at River Oaks and this would give us a chance to play together. [Reply]

Played Pevely Farms on Monday (cheaply) and thought of you, Phil.
I wouldn't come up if I were you. Greens weren't in the best of shape. Great layout, though. [Reply]

Pretty sure you can play whenever, I think you just have to make a tee time. My dad is a member and plays Lake Perry a lot.
I'm hoping the weather doesn't fuck up my round tomorrow morning. Really looking forward to treating my dad to the round at Fire Keeper. [Reply]
