I think you might be looking at the wrong game. The score was never 14-13. Denver started off with 2 rushing TDs and it was 21-7 when Surtain got his pick 6, making it 28-7. [Reply]

The game was NEVER 14-13.
Either way, Denver still ran the ball more than they passed. That's also the game Teddy left early and Lock took over. Teddy came back, but was clearly not playing like he was earlier.
It's 14-7 Denver at the top of the 4th. Herbert threw an INT and Denver marched the field from their 14 to make it 21-7. Then, Surtain takes the next INT 70 yards to the house. [Reply]
