Typical Californians put shit into perfection and thinking its something better. This must taste like puke. tomato juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, or hot sauce in your beer. Why? I want a beer I drink a beer if I want Snap E Tom I buy a can. [Reply]

You went to the wrong places in kc then...
Guarantee there are a couple spots as authentic as anything in California [Reply]

SHOTS FIRED!!!!!
Not our fault you fell for the Bryants hype. Arthur has been dead like 20 years its not his BBQ anymore. Bryants was never KC style BBQ he was from Memphis moved to KC and smoked meat out of his house on Brooklyn which happened to be close to Old Municipal Stadium. It worked out perfect for folks coming to see a ballgame of leaving one hungry. The man could smoke but his sauce never was KC style. That came from guys who sold to the meat packers and processors down in the stockyards of the west bottoms or along the rail lines out of carts selling to folks getting on trolleys or interurban for work.
