"Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out," the source said. "She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago."
The Messenger has reached out to reps for Swift and Kelce for comment.
In July, Kelce tried — and failed — to pass his phone number to Swift ahead of a stop on the singer's record-breaking Eras Tour.
During an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he made a bracelet for the show with the digits of his phone number on the beads.
The two-time Super Bowl champ wanted to gift the homemade jewelry to the pop star ahead of her Kansas City show at Arrowhead Stadium in July, but unfortunately for him, Swift didn't take the bait.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Kelce explained on the podcast.
As his brother laughed, Kelce added, "She doesn't meet anybody — or at least she didn't want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show."
The pairing comes after Swift and Matty Healy's whirlwind romance came to an end in June after weeks of dating.
"It was a whirlwind romance but Taylor and Matty are now not together. Taylor broke it off with him, and it happened fast," a source told The Messenger at the time. "They had a lot of fun together, and it moved really quickly, but ultimately Taylor wanted to move on and be single."
Swift was linked to Healy in May after she and longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn broke up in April. The 12-time Grammy winner is releasing 1989 (Taylor's Version) on Oct. 27.
It's obviously not true, but it would be hilarious to claim a Super Bowl winning play was a Taylor Swift special, therefore the opponent was essentially beaten by a girl. [Reply]

So he’s lying? I think she’s just being funny about it. [Reply]
You just know we're going to get a play with a Taylor Swift song name that uses some concept that she drew up. It's just the perfect way to next-level troll the entire NFL. [Reply]
If you watch the interview that is not what he said.
Fake news with an attention grabbing headlines. He basically said she loves football and even draws up plays. Not that the Chiefs use any of them. [Reply]
Her boyfriend is Travis Kelce and he is basically her only connection to football. If she's drawing up plays it's reasonable to assume she's doing it with her favorite team the Kansas City Chiefs in mind. [Reply]

I'd guess it's somewhere in between. The team has a culture of messing around with ideas and trying stuff out in practice. It's plausible they were talking and she threw out an idea that they've since toyed around with. That doesn't mean it'll ever happen in a game, but I don't think it's entirely out of the question that a nugget of an idea Taylor came up with could make it into the playbook.
I mean, Snow Globe had to come from somewhere, after all. [Reply]
NFL fans are desperate to know whether Taylor Swift will attend the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opener on Thursday evening.
And The U.S. Sun can reveal the pop star's plans for the Chiefs' game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
According to a well-placed insider, Swift is scheduled to be in attendance to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The U.S. Sun can also reveal that Swift's parents will also be at the game, alongside Kelce's mom Donna, dad Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.
"She wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world," says a source close to Swift's entourage.
"After the long Euro part of the tour, where Travis was able to come show up and spend time with her when he could, she wants to show him that she supports him.
"She can’t wait for the start of the season and attend as many games as she can, starting this Thursday."
The game, which will feature a banner unveiling, is scheduled to kick off at 8:20pm ET on NBC.
Fans will be kept in in the dark until just before kickoff.
But if Swift is seen in the stands and on the field afterwards, social media is expected to go into overdrive.
It is poised to be Swift's first NFL game since the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII triumph against the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift recently returned to the US following the conclusion of the European leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour.
And The U.S. Sun understands she is planning to attend the first five Chiefs games before she resumes the Eras Tour on October 18 in Miami.
Up until then, the Chiefs will play five regular-season games against the Ravens, Bengals, Falcons, Chargers and Saints.
"The goal is to go to as much games as possible this season when the schedule allows it," the source added.
"And she is very excited to follow him, and support Travis, in her quest to another Super Bowl title."
Swift and Kelce have been looking to spend as much time together as possible due to their busy schedules following their 'summer of love'.
The A-list duo were most recently seen together at an A-list get-together at her $17.75 million Rhode Island vacation home.
One last chance to relax together ahead of the NFL season, Swift and Kelce were joined by stars including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Kravitz, and Channing Tatum.
Kelce's brother Jason also made the trip along with his wife Kylie, as did Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.
The Chiefs, for their part, are hoping to become the first team to ever win three consecutive Super Bowls come February 2025 in New Orleans.
And Swift could play a part in helping the Chiefs achieve the goal.
In a recent interview with NBC Sports, Mahomes raved about Swift's desire for a deeper understanding of football.
"She's really interested in football, and she asks a lot of great questions," he said.
"Started drawing up plays. We might have to put one in."
Kelce expanded on Swift's interest in the NFL in an interview with Rich Eisen.
“She has just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything,” Kelce said, per the Kansas City Star.
“And I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything.
“She’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession.
"I know none of the plays have gotten to coach (Andy) Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it was her creation.”

FWIW, which is nothing, I have seen professional Taylor Swift bloggers, tiktokers, etc. who have huge followings because they have some slight inside with the tour, or somehow get info first, speculate that they were engaged before this summer because of certain songs she sings when Travis is in attendance, and when she started posting him on her social media.
I would not be surprised if they were engaged, but I hope they aren't so we get to see what this Travis Kelce can come up with in his passionate, romantic imagination as far as popping the question.
I feel like he would do it big, like maybe at last Eras tour date he could attend, in front of the entire stadium.
Like, what if he does the same performance on stage as before, but pretends to fall and hurt himself. Because she isn't looking directly at them at first, I don't think anyway.
She rushes over, and it's not Travis, but Ross Travis. They pulled a switch-a-roo, and when she turns around, he is on his knees with a ring, and all the dancers have are behind him, and on the big screen it says "Taylor, will you marry me?"
Edit: I think there would be women and young girls alike passing out from screaming so much. Shoot, that stadium would be deafening. Imagine the moment the crowd understands what's happening, holy hell, the eruption might break eardrums.

The host will come out and say that everyone knows Taylor's boyfriend couldn't make it, but he taped a special message for her.
They start showing the special message, and while it's dark, TK sneaks up behind her.
The video ends with TK saying, Taylor, I love you, and look behind.
The lights go up, Taylor turns around, and TK is on one knee, holding out a ring, and says Taylor, will you marry me? She screams yes, and everyone explodes.
The Grammys experience the biggest spike in viewership ever recorded.
The internet immediately breaks, and the news sweeps thru the 49ers locker room, and they become so obsessed with America's New Royal Couple, that they end up losing the Super Bowl to the Chiefs by double digits again.
Lmao, wtf did I just read? This just made my skin crawl.
I have a couple of serious questions, man.
Do you write Travis and Taylor fan fiction or something?
What does this mean? "This is not an endorsement of any part of this ongoing gang bang, but......", because it definitely seems to be an endorsement. You've written two fairly long posts describing ways in which you hope or think that Travis might propose to Taylor and the different reactions from people in detail to the proposal.
