Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.

Agree. Chris Jones was selected in that range. [Reply]

He's a good locker room guy, not really his fault fan expectations were set so high for him.
Not much to complain about IMO.
Seriously? If you consistently draft players in the first round, who end up being fourth on the depth chart, you've got big problems, regardless if they're great locker room guys.
The Chiefs missed on Clyde but hit big time on Sneed in the fourth round of that same draft. Point is, you hit on some draft picks you miss on others, but its not wrong to expect your first rounders to make significant contributions. [Reply]
Was that the game where Lamar was fucking chucking up wounded ducks to literally no one and somehow his guys would come down with it? There was one where the replay showed he shut his eyes as he was getting tackled and it was like an elementary school game of 500...that we lost. [Reply]

Yes. Lol! ...It was also the game where Mahomes threw a wounded duck of his own at midfield. He was getting tackled and he just threw it up for grabs and the Ravens intercepted it. He said afterwards, when everyone was piling on Clyde, that he wished he had that one back cuz he said that it was a huge mistake that contributed to the loss. [Reply]

Clyde deserved all the shit he got for that.
13 carries for a whopping 46 yards, zero catches, not even a single 1st down converted.
He was shattered ass in that ballgame. He was as completely ineffective as a ballcarrier can be. He was Kadarius Toney bad.
As bad as the pile-on was, it could've (and should've) been worse. [Reply]

Which was exactly his job.
He had one assignment - two hands on the ball, cut once, slam into the gap.
And for some weird ass reason he takes his arm off the ball to make a jump cut. Just...why? Guy could've been throwing the game and it wouldn't have been any less egregious than that.
And it wasn't even some incredible punch to knock the ball out. The nose was already at an angle as he started his cut; just jostling his forearm probably knocks it out.
It was just god-awful.
Like I said, no matter how much shit he got, it wasn't enough. Guys have been cut for less. [Reply]

Yeah, it was pretty bad. In that spot, just literally don't do the 1 thing you did and it's fine.
