Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]

I 100% agree, but that's because I don't feel like I have enough. [Reply]

I can't remember if it was before or after the summer riots, but I heard at some point that there were 9 million new gun owners over the last year. As in people that didn't own a gun that now do. Not guns sold.
That's a LOT. If there are 350 million people in the country, that's 2.5% of the entire population that entered the market. **** that's a lot. So if they are responsible gun owners and training with those firearms, wow. That's a lot of hot lead. Just round numbers, say half of those 9 million stick them in the safe, the other half run 100 rounds a year through them. That's 450 million bullets that weren't even in the firearms market in 2019. And you'd think those numbers are pretty conservative. You know there are some fools that like it and dump 1000 rounds a year.
1000 rounds a year. Those are rookie numbers. I could easily shoot that on a day with nice weather.
On another note. Because of ammo prices I have become really into .22s. I think I own more 22 guns than any other caliber. [Reply]

Sig P365XL. Can't recommend it highly enough. Accurate, runs great, excellent trigger. 12+1 capacity, amazing for a pistol that size. Unless your heart is set on the 10mm, IMO it blows that Glock away in every category. [Reply]

I carry a Kimber Micro 9 CDP if you like the 1911 style. She is pretty and has a ambi thumb safety. She also didn't break the bank so not to pissed when I scratch her up.
I also have a nice pocket leather holster. When carrying in your pocket it looks like a wallet. [Reply]
I have a keen eye out for the new Springfield Arms SA-35 new improved version of the venerable Browning Hi-Power. Don't know if it's what you're looking for in a CC though at a little over 3 lbs. I will try to hold out for if rumors are true of a nickel version coming.

I'd love to blow that ammo, but I, you know, need to eat. :-)
:-). Guns are such an expensive hobby. If the little woman had any idea how much I have spent on guns and ammo over the years. I would be a dead man. [Reply]

For the love of god, tell her in your will what they are worth so she doesn't think they're worth what you told her you paid for them.
I can't tell you how many $250 dollar guns I've bought over the years that were worth twice that. I even paid more than the asking price a couple times because I felt like a thief. [Reply]

That's an interesting looking choice. I see the only model the local Cabela's has in stock, is the P365XL Romeo Zero. I wonder if rear set up would make it a pain in the ass for CC?

No it doesn't. I got the Romeo optic later and had my gunsmith put it on so he could also cut down my IWB kydex holster to accommodate it. The gun is small and slim, and the optic is also very small. [Reply]
