The fact that Danna and Herring are getting 3rd down reps is just poor personnel management. There's no real excuse for it. "He needs to learn the system" is hubris and nothing more. It's a coach thinking his system is more important than the players running it.
To an extent it CAN be. But not when you're talking about sending guys like Herring and Danna out there to just get stood straight up.

It’s extremely frustrating but at the same time Spags was the biggest reason we were able to even make and win the SB last year with the offensive struggles.

The last time he was on the field Omenihu and Chris lined up at DE and Uche was told by Bolton to line up inside. It certainly feels like Uche expected to line up at end and wasn’t happy that he didn’t.

Well, it’s also our best shot to get to the QB. We create zero pressure right now because we lack speed. The Tackles don’t have to do much to stop our 3rd down pressure. That’s where we could desperately use Uche. It’s a fucking head scratcher for sure [Reply]
