Season starts tonight with Knicks and Celtics followed by Lakers and TWolves.
Will history be made early in the 2nd game?

Go to bed, Pat. You have more important things to be doing than bashing your head over this trash ass franchise

Windhorst on ESPN said the Mavs didn’t even tell anyone else he was available
Is this the worst trade in NBA history

This is like the Chiefs trading Kelce for Justin Jefferson or maybe Chris Jones for Myles Garrett. Its hard to find a comp, this is nuts.

Cuban isn’t the majority owner anymore if I’m recalling correctly, sold the team last year

Jimmy Butler watching a guy get traded who wasn’t trying to get traded… with amazement.

It’s like if the 2000s Cavs traded 25 year old LeBron for Celtics era KG or something

Seems like the Mavs didn’t want to give a supermax contract to a guy who isn’t 100% committed to staying in shape… but that’s a lame excuse.
Get the guy a trainer.
Can’t replicate his offensive skillset.

He’d 25 years old. Any real physical decline wouldn’t have happened until the 2030s anyway. Ridiculous stuff.

This is just baffling for Dallas

This feels like the fix was in for LA to stay relevant for another decade.
