#Chiefs CB Jaylen Watson, one of their emerging young players on defense, suffered a fractured ankle in Sunday’s win over the #49ers, sources say.
He’ll have more imaging done today to determine if a return this season is possible. But tough reality for an up-and-coming corner. pic.twitter.com/86J6M58zqm
Breaking: The #Chiefs are designating CB Jaylen Watson to return from IR, and he will practice today, sources tell @NFLonFOX. This is a huge boost for Kansas City, who has been without Watson since late October due to a broken fibula.

i mean imagine being a QB and seeing Mike Pennel drop into coverage, you’d be like what the fuck, and even 2 seconds of confusion can be enough to destroy a play
you’ve gotta be locked in and on it to counteract shit like that. [Reply]

Maybe he's craftier than given credit for. By being wrong at such an insanely high rate, he tricks you into believing the odds are dramatically in your favor on a given bet. [Reply]
The guys that got injured early in the season doing everything in their earthly power to get get back on the field to help achieve the 3-peat puts a big ol' smile on my face.
Amazing leadership top-to-bottom, the energy and desire to win and do something great is infectious within this organization. [Reply]

He has a lot of reasons for it, lets not ignore that for a young 7th round draft pick, starting and playing well in a SB on a top end team is his ticket to a huge payday. [Reply]

I was actually pretty shocked to hear this today. I was thinking the practice window might open on divisional week, but now with this news, he should totally be ready to play that weekend.
Game changer to say the least. You look at some of the teams we could and will match up against deep in the playoffs, especially those with great WR tandems or trios... this goes a long way. Spags can once again deploy his DBs how he wants to.
Have fun with McDuffie this time, Khalil Shakir. [Reply]
