Nzoner's Game Room>Free Agency Eve Look at Chiefs Roster
pugsnotdrugs19 02:18 PM 03-09-2025
Less than 24 hours away from players agreeing to terms with new teams, here’s where we stand (only including players of consequence):

QB - Mahomes
RB - Pacheco, Elijah Mitchell
WR - Rice, Worthy, Hollywood, Remigio
TE - Kelce, Gray, Wylie
LT - Jaylon Moore
LG - Kingsley
C - Creed, Nourzad
RG - Trey
RT - Taylor, Wanya

DE - George, FAU, Danna
DT - Jones
LB - Bolton, Tranquill, Chenal
CB - McDuffie, Watson, Kristian Fulton, Williams
S - Hicks, Cook, Conner

All that said, what do we predict happens? What would make it a successful FA period in your mind from here following the signings of Bolton, Hollywood, and Trey?

I have come to terms and fully expect we're going to go get Dan Moore Jr from Pittsburgh (as duncan_idaho mentioned in the draft forum) and then things are going to get really quiet at Arrowhead for at least a few days while they iron out a long-term with Trey Smith and restructure Mahomes so that there is money to do anything else.

We'll miss out on a big defensive playmaker in all likelihood, as much as I wish we could add Jamien Sherwood and Josh Sweat to this roster. I'm hoping somehow they can at least pull off Sweat but that's a pipe dream.

🚨 UPDATE 🚨

The #Chiefs will likely take a look at guard Aaron Banks during free agency.

I don't really care who stands in the middle. Just find some fat people. They'll be fine enough. What are we gonna do run Barkley 40 times a game and do QB sneaks? No? Then who fucking cares.
Hey bud.

Get over it.

Thanks for the update; I hadn't seen it. Good deal for him. Alot of teams were rumored to be interested if he hit the market.

You’re right though he would have been a good compliment to Bolton

I was out of touch for a while. Did the Chiefs officially say that they're moving Kingsley to guard and Wanya to right tackle?

Would love the first two and Rondale Moore. I'd add Isaiah Rogers at CB and either Tart or Ford at DT. But suspect all are pipe dreams.

I was looking at Isaiah Rogers today as well, but I think he's going to have a better market than maybe I first thought. He played pretty damned well last year.

Andy wouldn't tolerate Jameis' interception-prone ways, even as a back-up.

Yeah, sadly I think you're right. These "under the radar" options never end up that way! Honestly I think he's played well pretty much whenever he's played. My only hope is some teams don't like his size and rule him out accordingly, but frankly if there's a team likely to do that, it's probably the Chiefs.

No, but it's somehow become CP conventional wisdom.

OP updated.

Starting to take shape and at minimum there’s no reason we can’t go BPA in the draft.
