They desperately need another guy to beat man coverage. Love Hopkins but that’s not his game. Worthy and Hollywood beating man coverage changes this offense entirely [Reply]

Gets us back where we were supposed to be from the start with Brown and Rice.
You have two legit man-beaters who can win overtop in Brown and Worthy, with two really good underneath zone-beaters in Hopkins and Kelce/Gray at any given time.
If he and Pat pick up where they seemingly left off, we can't understate the residual impact this could have. If Worthy goes back to not being the only guy teams worry about downfield, that alone is going be a big deal. [Reply]

guys beating coverage won't matter if Mahomes doesn't have time [Reply]

It does in this case because Brown is a quick winner who gets open at all levels.
If we can hit those easy buttons more often, we will find that the opposing defense gets tired quicker, and even the extended out plays won't look so laboring for our blockers. [Reply]

If we can hit those intermediate quick shots, it would get defenses to lighten the box, opening up the running game.
They're going to need a running game and right now, it's suffering because teams are trying to force them into long distance passing downs.
It all works together. And all of it would help the o line. [Reply]

Brown is a legit WR2/low-end WR1 in this offense. All offseason we heard (and even witnessed at camp) how in-sync he was with Patrick.
I mean, what would happen to the Lions offense without Jameson Williams right now or Philly without Devonta Smith? I don't think it's crazy to think Brown could be that type of impactful player in our scheme where dudes like him have thrived. [Reply]
