He's a #4 WR. They need a #2 and #3 badly

Pringle is a #4 WR with no upside. Last year is as good as he's going to get. We need MUCH better than that.

The fact that Pringle had to slot in as a #2/3 last year suggests we need to do better. Byron should only be playing in 4 WR sets, or when you need a bigger WR in tight yardage situations. He's a fine #4, but super jag-iliscious.

Any chance hardman improves this year? Contract year for him?

Who is our number #3 WR? Robinson? I think Pringle did more this year than him.

We don't really have a #3. We definitely don't have a #2. We've got Hill and a bunch of guys.

Mecole should be that guy that slides in as a #3, but he just disappears for long stretches. That's a dude that should be spending all off-season learning how to run better routes. He's great if he can get open and catch the ball, because he's definitely a guy that can get a lot of yac. But, he really struggles with his routes, and it's pretty obvious Pat has some trust issues with him.

I'm not sure I'd even consider him a WR at this point. He's a gadget player.

2019 - 16 games, 5 starts, 26 catches, 538 yards, 6 TDs, 63.4% catch rate.

2020 - 16 games, 8 starts, 41 catches, 560 yards, 4 TDs, 66.1% catch rate.

2021 - 17 games, 8 starts, 59 catches, 693 yards, 2 TDs, 71.1% catch rate.

The only stat that has gone down each year has been TDs.

Yes, I'd say that he improves this year again.

Therein lies the problem with why our WR Room looks janky....and needs an infusion of talent

People have hoped for much better from Mecole Hardman, but he has stayed healthy and contributed each year.

If he continues to improve like he has done each season, that puts him near 800 yards, 80 catches, and over a 70-75% catch rate. There are a lot of teams that would LOVE to have him on their team.

I actually like Mecole Hardman and think he can still contribute quite a bit to this team. But even with that production, he's not playing a true WR role.

This team needs a solid #2 opposite Hill.

If the Chiefs get a proper #2 (which I hope they do), Hardman's numbers are gonna go down even of he continues to improve as a player.

I don’t even think of him as a WR. I just give him that Athlete tag that they put on a lot of high school players.

Mahomes was hyping this kid a little in the presser yesterday. Said he had to call Veach when they were working out in Texas to ask how fast he was, because he was late on some of his throws.

He is a Vet with ST experience; would not be shocked if he sticks at the last WR spot if Gordon or Powell have mediocre camps.
