These riches-to-rags stories of former athletes always leaves me scratching my head. Seems impossible with all of the financial support and resources that players receive in the modern NFL. Maybe Al Davis is haunting Russell from the great beyond. Payback for the purple drank, blank DVD and poor performance. :-) [Reply]
Just a reminder, Purple Drank beat the Chiefs TWICE in his career, once in 2008 and once in 2009. He threw for 55 yards in the first win, 109 in the second. He had a career .500 record against us while only completing 34 percent of his passes. One coach who lost to him was Squirmin' Herman, the other was Todd One Finger Salute Haley. Thank God those days are over. [Reply]
