But here's the highlight, which is told in the article in a very pro-bronco tone as opposed to neutral journalism.
Davis says he is "in shock over the traumatizing events." He says he was traveling with his wife, his two sons and his daughter.
"During the beverage service, my son politely requested a cup of ice. The flight attendant either didn't hear or ignored his request and continued past our row. I calmly reached behind me and lightly tapped his arm to get his attention to again ask for a cup of ice for my son," Davis wrote in the social media post.
Davis says right after he tapped the flight attendant on the arm, the man shouted "Don't hit me" and moved to another part of the plane. Davis says the flight attendant was "incredibly rude and blatantly wrong in his accusations of me hitting him" and he didn't interact with the attendant for the rest of the flight.
Before passengers were allowed off the plane Davis says the captain asked everyone to remain seated and that's when the law enforcement officers came on the plane, handcuffed Davis and escorted him off the plane without providing a reason why.
The last sentence here is the key one. Davis knew that he had committed air terrorism, so he knew that truth, justice, and the American Way was waiting at the gate for him. [Reply]

When people complain about things they rarely tell the truth as it happened. They tell their story the way it felt to them.
And so does the other side.
The person filing the complaint says the employee is literally Hitler and the employee says they had to fight the customer off with tasers and mace. Both sides exaggerate to highlight not that they were justified but super justified.
Odds are pretty good both sides were a bit douchey in this exchange... [Reply]

I'm guessing TD gave him a pat on the shoulder as he would another football player to say "hey bro, can I get some help here?" And I'll bet he's a strong guy with some big, rock hard hands. That probably felt like a hit to a puss flight attendant. [Reply]
I hate the donks as much as the next guy, but in this case, it looks like the whole thing was the result of an overly sensitive flit boy flight attendant.
United Airlines apologizes to Hall of Famer Terrell Davis following alleged mistreatment by flight attendant.
United Airlines has apologized to Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis after the former Denver Broncos star called for an investigation into a flight attendant's behavior. He alleged in a series of Instagram posts that he was wrongfully handcuffed and removed from a Saturday flight. United Airlines released a statement stating they have removed the flight attendant that Davis claimed caused the issue from duty.
A flight that's 2 hours or less should not have drink service. It's such a pain in the ass. If you want to drink on the plane or a snack buy it in the terminal. This isn't the 1980s. [Reply]
I kind of miss the old days when we all naturally assumed the worst about any broncos player, but I don't miss the old days when we weren't winning the Super Bowl every year. So overall, it's a win.
I'll still refer to the guy going forward as "Former Airline Terrorist Terrell Davis" if people don't mind. [Reply]
