This team is DONE.
Will finish getting swept tomorrow by Snell.
Maybe get one out of three against Nats on the road.
And then get swept by Atlanta to finish the season since they’ll still be fighting for a playoff spot.
I don’t know if they’re soft and they have just given up or they’re just tired and worn down and don’t have anything left to give?
Whatever it is, they’re done this season. Time to close the book on 2024.
Some significant (and obvious) areas to address this offseason.
Hopefully Sherm is willing to open the checkbook since he wants his new stadium.

Just remember that the Royals will have to face Chris Sale and Max Fried in Atlanta

I know they care, they just suck other than Bobby. Sal looks old. Only a very few others should even be on a major league roster.

Fans abandoning them this easily? Look up the 2006 Cardinals. They'd be far from the first mediocre team to get in and go on a run.

I mean, I know losing Vinnie was a big blow to this team and lineup, but if they’re THIS bad without him, we’ve got a LOT bigger problems than Vinnie.
Didn’t realize how devoid of leadership this team was without Vinnie. No one there to take on his role and motivate the guys.
Anyone know what Raul Ibanez is doing these days??

This team has lost 6 in a row with a playoff spot on the line to close the season. They’ve scored 4 runs in 37 innings now, not for a lack of opportunities.
This team has ZERO chance of getting in and going on a run. ZERO
