The Royals don't have any players that are good at getting on base, so while it's true that you'd like a high OBP player leading off, the Royals don't have one. Except Bobby Witt Jr is hitting for such a high average, his OBP is high along with it. You saying Witt should lead off? Play for the leadoff solo HR? No. Witt needs to be in an RBI slot in the lineup.

Frazier is as good as the next candidate to lead off. The Royals just don't have a lot of talent in their lineup.

Salvy beat that HR ball like it owed him money. What a perfect swing.

He is one of the last players that should be leading off and he damn sure shouldn't ever be DHing. Amongst qualifying players on the team he is only ahead of Velazquez and Melendez in OBP. He has a. 278 OBP and is 31 points lower than the team average. He has a .234 OBP as a the lead off guy.

No Witt shouldn't be leading off, but he isn't in a RBI spot in the lineup with Frazier batting in front of him. He's basically leading off, but with an automatic out each game. Frazier shouldn't even be in the major league team. He's worthless.

Sure Frazier is worthless by those stats. He's also been a really useful player for the Pirates and Mariners. Good enough to lead off on a team without offensive talent. And that's why he leads off.

You're too obsessed with stupid statistics. You're not a math guy, you're not a saber guy, you wouldn't know a debit from a credit, you've never balanced your checkbook and you wouldn't know what that even means if you tried. These are weaknesses for a young lass with mental deficiencies such as yours. I can give you Frazier statistics from other points of time that would absolutely validate his spot in the batting order.

This team doesn't get better by having Freddy Fermin lead off.

.
Kind of tough thinking, the Royals cant find someone to lead off, who is actually hitting above the Medoza line.

We were right above ya—upstairs but near the bottom of 326.

Was great to be back in town for virtually a full house.

Why wouldn't you? I bought his jersey in 2016 in a 3-pack deal. Brett and Gordon were the other two.

Hunter Renfroe is OBP’ing 379 over his last 30 games, and 417 his last 7. That’s my lead off there

Frazier is just a place holder in the lineup until the trade deadline and keeping the rest of the lineup in its spot.

A place holder shouldn't be batting in one of the most important spots. Bat him 8th or something.

It’s getting to the dog days now. The team is in it. And now, ALL the games mean something. So, dlph isn’t exactly wrong. If they can find a high OBP guy, you have to attempt to acquire him.
