Worthy is gonna make this offense exciting again. The jet sweep really showed off his speed and the blown coverage was just beautiful to see.
Kingsley really held up well in his first start gave up a sack but overall was a good performance.
Pacheco has really upped his game - those jump cuts he uses now are just nasty.
J Taylor and his false start penalties again. Really hope he can get his early jumps worked out.
Chris Jones was feasting on a young inexperienced Ravens Oline.
The DB's didn't look as bad in this game as in the pre-season. The LB's (Bolton) were made to look silly a couple of times. I'd like to see some of the big gains cleaned up but I think a lot of that was all the time Lamar had in the pocket trying to contain him. Not super worried about it.
Connor had a couple of big hits and just missed getting an INT. I think his eyes got too big on that dropped INT and dropped an easy one.
Lamar was their whole offense and we still struggle to contain a super mobile QB - BUT I'll take making them into basically a one weapon team.
Hardman was a good choice as a PR/KR.
Juju was out there making some good blocks and almost had a TD.
Rice is gonna feast over the middle this year.
Starting the season 1-0 is great. Next week is going to be even better. I think this team is back to boat racing teams in scoring and turning them into a one dimensional offense trying to keep up. [Reply]
I'm sure this has been mentioned but I got angry at that chode Collinsworth bitching about how they were calling all the offensive line penalties early against Baltimore but last year in week 1 he wouldn't shut his mouth about how they let the Chiefs get away with too much. The more I watch games with him, the more I dislike him.
And did I hear correctly? Did he call Lamar Jackson the "prototypical pocket passer"? [Reply]

This is a huge win
But until worthy is fully capable of what we need, man Hollywood is going to make a huge difference
I’m a little sensitive to it because I’m still pissed that mahomes was insulted by not being considered best in the game. But also partly because I hate how many yards and points we keep on the table. I’m annoyed that this game didn’t do much to change the ball washing of Lamar vs mahomes
Great win but our offense is still capable of so so much more
We were a dropped Pacheco and Perine pass away from blowing them out of the water. Mahomes would have had another 70 passing yards and two more TDs.
This offense is gonna be really, really good when Brown returns. [Reply]

Yea those passes were a touch too much of a lead on the RBs. Someone will remind Mahomes to count an extra half Mississippi before the throwing to the backs. His WRs have him spoiled lol [Reply]
With Perine, he didn't have much time to get their timing down, so that will definitely get better.
Great win... I want another ugly win next week and we will have set ourselves up GREAT for homefield advantage jockeying at the end of the year. [Reply]

:-) I didn’t hear that but probably would have spit out my food had I heard it. [Reply]
We put up 27 points and it felt like the offense was sputtering all night. Get Hollywood back and get this offense in rythm there is so much room for improvement. [Reply]

Perhaps he said "Lamar Jackson is NOT the prototypical pocket passer" or "Lamar Jackson is anything but the prototypical pocket passer". I definitely could have misheard. And I hope I did. Otherwise it might be time to put that old pillowbiter out to pasture. [Reply]
I’m shocked Andy put a rookie LT on an island all night in his first game. Man they must have REALLY liked him bc they trusted the hell out of the kid tonight.
Offense is going to be great this year. Defense.... not so sure. What was the time of possession for each team tonight? It felt like the Chiefs D were out there a lot. [Reply]

Something like Chiefs 26 minutes to Ravens 34.
They definitely won TOP and they outgained us in yardage. There's much to be desired with this Chiefs team, and we still won. Feels great. [Reply]
