In MLB, pitchers are limited to 110 pitches per game or per day. If a pitcher reaches the limit while facing a batter, they can continue pitching until the batter reaches base, is retired, or the third out is recorded.
I knew about the Nolan Ryan, 235 pitch thing, but I've never heard of this 110 limit for pitchers. [Reply]
