Sunday Night Football. This will be Atlanta’s Super Bowl. Hopefully Mahomes will be a lot more careful with the ball. Don’t give the other team momentum and field position. [Reply]
DEFENSE: Same story: Two high, and make us be perfect with multiple plays down the field. They're banking on Mahomes getting greedy or us abandoning the run (especially now that Pacheco is gone). They want us to have to convert numerous 3rd downs and settle for 3 points. No explosives (unless someone truly fucks up, like in the Ravens game).
It's really the same thing that it's been the last two years, and is probably why we're always in tight contests. It's really the only play the opponents have. The good news is we have the best to ever do it under center.
OFFENSE: They're looking to force the LBs into coverage, and are having success moving the ball with athletic, pass-catching TE's. I've noticed a decent amount of screen attempts as well as passes to the flats. They don't want to test our CB's except for Williams when he's out there.
We are tough and have been tackling well, but if we can ratchet up the pass rush, I think we're going to really shut down some teams here soon. Looking forward to getting Omenihu back. [Reply]
I'd love to be wrong, but it's incredibly rare for a DL to come back from an ACL and instantly be the same player. Usually takes another season to be the same.
I knew the NFL fans would melt down if f we went 2-0 but winning they way we did has made the reactions even better , now it’s time me to put the fear back into their hearts and blow theses fuckers away without Pacheco/brown, because for some dumb reason theses teams feel like they still have hope.
