Trade: The #Vikings are adding a new left tackle, completing a trade with the #Jaguars to acquire LT Cam Robinson in exchange for draft pick compensation, per me and @TomPelissero.
Vikings get Cam Robinson and a conditional 2026 7th (that can go away based on playtime) and Jaguars get a conditional 2026 5th that can become a 4th based on playtime, per source.

An immediate need becomes CB2 which was exposed against the faid and will be further exposed against Allen, Stroud or even Wilson. That's where a guy like Lattimore can be had for a 3rd. He fills an immediate hole and makes the defense complete.
What am I missing here? Lattimore has cap numbers of $31.4 and $28.5 the next 2 years, I seriously doubt they're adding a cornerback at that price. [Reply]

The team that trades for him isn't eating his signing bonus proration. It'll be about $21.5 per.
It's his "this year" that's really attractive given he's at least a good solid starter and can look like a top 3 CB when he brings his best, he just isn't consistent. [Reply]

We can get by with one weak link on the OL. Especially with Mahomes pocket mobility.
But for that compensation I would have been awfully tempted.
Still want a cheap press cover corner for the run. [Reply]

Damn, that's high as hell. Not happening then. Veach would have to pull up a move similar to the one Buffalo did last year with Rasul Douglas. [Reply]

Brown is just outside the top ten in passblock grading, lowest number of pressures and he's #1 in PBWR this year.
If he’s had a good start to this particular season, cool, good for him - haven’t exactly caught a lot of Bengals football this year
But the OBJ we knew and that I saw last year… he’s solid. That’s all. [Reply]

He's playing above what's on the back of his card this year. [Reply]
Robinson has his flaws -- per NGS, his sacks-allowed rate (2.2 percent) ranks seventh-highest among players with 150-plus pass-blocking snaps this season, Pro Football Focus grades him as the 43rd best run-blocker among offensive tackles in 2024 and he was recently replaced in the starting lineup. https://www.nfl.com/news/player-team...gs-wr-for-bucs [Reply]
Would not be surprised to see Donathan Smith back in the fold sometime soon. Not the most preferable option, but one of the few viable ones this time of the season. (Assuming that he’s kept himself in shape.) [Reply]

If they aren't planning to switch off Morris after the drubbing he took against the Raiders, it's not happening at all. [Reply]
