If we need 15 transactions to compete we were never competitive at all. I'd pass on this. Let the CHIEFS decide our fate this season. A bunch of mercenaries isn't even cool. We trying to be the fucking Dodgers?

I wonder — maybe even believe — if similar to these other trades we’ve seen, the price maybe isn’t quite what we think.
Saints have a disaster of a cap situation and everyone knows Lattimore is gone next spring unless they extend him. If Sneed went for a 3, a 28 year old Lattimore who is dealing with a hammy may not be worth more than late 4th round value.
AKA, Chiefs send their 3rd, and receive NO’s 4 or 5 back with Lattimore. [Reply]

Joshua Williams and if we die we die.
WTF?
We lost 3 of our top 4 WR's, starting RB, 2 TE's,, starting CB and the RDE has been out for a bit now.

I'm more concerned with how we fit him under the cap now and going forward. [Reply]
Also, “they should have kept Sneed” is not a worthwhile POV here IMO.
A lot of context has come to life since that trade. Watson was playing out of his mind, and if they think adding someone of Lattimore’s caliber is necessary here midseason, that says a lot about what Watson was doing + even more about what they think Nazeeh and Williams are capable of doing in Watson’s absence.
With Lattimore only having $1M left to pay this year, it’s not apples to apples between choosing he and Sneed. [Reply]

Yes it is. Lattimore is hurt. A fucking LOT. Expecting him to come in off the rip and be elite is foolishly optimistic at best. Sneed had years in the system and we would've had 3 elite CBs only needing to pay one with the ability to stagger his and McDuffies contract. [Reply]
