NAH
Yeah - I never understood the hype about the first one.
I think this Penguin series is doing a better job of establishing a gritty, almost sympathetic villain backstory than Joker did.
Mostly I'm pretty sure I just don't care for Joakim Phoenix. [Reply]

Unable to watch Penguin here, but yeah its getting some great reviews... Farrell got unfairly labeled as a lightweight prettyboy, dude is successfully breaking that mold with this role
He pulled it off nicely in the newest Batman, so I'm sure this new gig is living up to the hype [Reply]

I watched the first episode of the Penguin series. It held my attention through the entire thing. There is a lot going on and Colin Farrel is doing a really good job. I enjoyed it enough that I'm waiting to watch the second episode until I can sit and pay attention to it. [Reply]

Man, I thought I was the only one that thought it was just boring and terrible. I was stunned at how many people thought it was some cinematic masterpiece. [Reply]

To each their own, but yeah it just didn't really resonate with me either
And this new one is getting absolutely ROASTED by critics and audiences alike [Reply]
