EV sucks. The range and time to recharge is going to keep it from being a mainstream form of transportation. Not to mention the cost of replacing the batteries. People want to talk about no maintenance but you still have tires to replace and while the average annual cost for repairs of an ICE vehicle is like $500, it costs like $12k to replace the batteries in an EV and thats going to be every 10 years or so.
It took time for ICE to get where it is today. EVs will have a faster adoption because of it. Your complaints while valid are being improved upon every year. Battery costs have decreased around 80-90% in the last decade. There are chargers that can take the capacity of a battery from 10-80% in 10-20 minutes.
