It started when CBS pulled from Dish and Direct TV so we were unable to watch the Chiefs games on Dish. At the time, Satellite TV was the shit, much like cable was 30 years ago.
Screw the viewer, CBS had an agenda!
The way I saw it, they were doing this to drive people to their streaming. I ended up putting up three antennas, one is dedicated to the FireTv recast box that htismaqe had recommended.
This year, it is my opinion, the local CBS station is reducing their broadcast strength from Springfield during the games. We will get a perfect picture all week from each of the antennas, even for pregame, then at game time, the picture either disappears totally or is crappy, forcing us to watch the game on Paramount.
Then the latest from them, last evening the FireTv recast guide had no information about the CBS evening programming, none, just said unavailable, so I was unable to set it to record Yellowstone!
Our Paramount didn't show anything past season one for Yellowstone being available, and even that was for purchase. Only Peacock was showing streaming of Yellowstone. But the local CBS station was broadcasting it after Tracker.
Is CBS out to get us?

However in fairness, I don't use P+ as much anymore since I gave up on Star Trek. In fact it just renewed for a year and even though they gave me a deal, I probably should have just cancelled it.
I used to watch Ghosts but it reset my progress so many times I gave up. I've used Paramount 3 times in the last few months, all Chiefs games.

It's not about performance. It's just glitchy interfaces. Netflix, for example, is slow but flawless. Peacock's interface is slow as hell and half the time graphics don't load all the way. Paramount is the worst though. Scrambled watch lists and the like.
I guess I've been lucky. I really haven't had any issues with the Paramount + app on my FireTV 4K Max stick or on the Google TV dongle I use on another RV.
