This popped up on my YouTube feed. Here's 3 games (the highlights) of the Chiefs from 92-94 I think. The Montana years. The DT, Neil Smith, Saleamua years. The Louie Aguiar and Lowery era. Back when the graphics were shit, the score was NOT on the screen at all times, the hits were probably penalties now...
Montana has a throwing motion that looks really strange to me, but I think the modern NFL QB is just different. Anyway, these are all Chiefs wins, so they are quite enjoyable!
9ers vs Chiefs at Arrowhead. I believe this is the newest of the 3. There are guys on the defense who I don't remember at all.

Today's lines suck ass in comparison, although pass rush schemes have gotten more sophisticated. But individual players are not as technically sound.
Yah, noticed the same thing watching some old game last offseason. The lines were so much better back then.
Also, I remember watching some Sports Science type show back then, and at some point they analyzed Montana’s throwing motion, among several other QBs, and found that he had the most mechanically perfect throwing motion of any QB they’d ever analyzed. Zero wasted motion. [Reply]

I prefer this classic. My skinny 14 year old ass could have run through a brick wall that night I was so fired up.
It's a bit of a shock to the system to see how slow and unimaginative the offenses were.
I might have to watch thar later. I remember watching that at my in laws. I was a Chiefs fan for about 3 years at that point. Had no idea the Chiefs would put on a beat down like that. Loved how the intro was all about how the Bills being 6-0 and looking to go back to get redemption. Nothing about the Chiefs. [Reply]

True story.
I still have my ticket stub to that one. The pregame program they hand out in the parking lot as well.
There are other aspects of that weekend I wish I remembered as well as the game... [Reply]
Play yer' game and don't let pride get the better of you. The hard stuff and those sweet and flavored shots are not my game. I acted like Tom Brady in Arrowhead and Endelt got the 48-9 win...or whatever that score was.
I never get hangovers and I was total shit for like 2 days after that. Big L.
I had a good 30 year run as a top shelf degenerate. Even Brady has to retire eventually. I got more grandkids than some souteast Asian emperors now so my approach to the back 9 was gonna' need tweaking to finish strong... [Reply]
