This is precisely the type of team Dallas has beat the brakes off of the last 5+ years. They look great against those fringe "good" teams, then get their asses kicked by any legit good teams. [Reply]
My overreactions:
1). The way the NFL structures the off-season programs exposes mediocre and poor coaching staffs. I think week one readiness is a criteria to monitor going forward. Only about four teams showed up ready to play this week. Ancillary hot take: the NFL is going to have to change course next negotiation to secure more structured team time in the off-season.
2) Eberflus and his offensive staff cannot effectively implement an NFL offense and will get shitcanned for people who can actually tap the bears offensive potential.
3) the chiefs and the niners stood above the rest of the NFL by a wide margin, and I don't think other teams can close the gap enough to compete barring injury. [Reply]
