Chiefs lead the league on 3rd with 54%. They converted 66% (!!!) last night. What else do you people want?
This.
The only thing that kept us from hanging a 40 burger was X-Man's feet and a gadget play from Reid in the redzone (technically the 21) at the wrong time.
After last night, I'm more concerned about Spags D looking like ass for much of the game against a Bucs team with a lot of backups playing. I'm willing to give him a mulligan and call it a one off. Shit happens. But we BADLY need another CB. JW is not ready (at this point) to start opposite McDuffie. Hopefully Nazeeh is healthy soon and can take some of those snaps away. Secondary was very disappointing. [Reply]
Clarification: We did have ONE turnover. The Kelce fumble. He usually has one of those it seems like every year. Just went ahead and got it out of the way. [Reply]

I mean I agree with you but those bombs to worthy connecting would be it. it's gonna happen though, full faith that worthy will work though the rookieness. [Reply]
Donks were 2nd worst at 3rd down conversions...Chiefs would have to be sleep walking to lose this one.
Spags against a rookie QB at Arrowhead? Keep Nix from running and it should be a fairly comfortable win. I think Jones rattles Nix into some bad footwork habits...
It's a divisional game so anything goes...no one saw the Chiefs being on the losing side of 5 turnovers last year. Cant really predict a fluky situation like that.. [Reply]

We're spoiled.
They had a few dumb plays and dumb drives... :-) and of course even at their best in Mahomes' first few years, Tyreek still had drops and shit still happened, but Mahomes also didn't have several dumb picks and so forth, so that stuff was easily overlooked.
I said it back then, their efficiency and ability to consistently get to 3rd and short and then convert was incredible... and they set the bar really high and even if it's unfair to compare those teams with the past couple years of Moore, Toney, and now several injured receivers, it's still going to happen. And of course Mahomes will have his own ups and downs because he is in fact human.
All the GDT drama of "slopfest" was of course crazy overblown as they were a couple mistakes away and a really dumb reverse play away from at least 20-10 at halftime... yeah, maybe it's a little frustrating to consistently be a couple plays away from breaking a game open, but meh, they're still a fucking machine when it matters the most. I like your points, but you are the same guy who was begging for Slayton last night
Once they get juju back in the lineup, and then Hollywood is probably going to eat into Worthy’s snaps in a way that benefits both parties, it’s gonna be a deadly offense, no matter who they face [Reply]

Yup I think Slayton would be great taking over for Watson while Worthy gets WR3 snaps. But it looks like that’s gonna be Juju.
The offense has been heating up the last 3 weeks though:
3rd down-32/48
Redzone-11/13
Extremely impressive numbers. Leader in 3rd down are usually around 50-55%.
Last 3 weeks we have converted 3rd downs at an astonishing 66%
