I read he's a stellar defensive player, so maybe that'll get him decent court time. [Reply]

If they don't, they won't HAVE him for that mid-soph year breakout.
Such is the way of things anymore.
Man it sucks. Watching Kobe Brown develop here was so much fun. It reminded me of watching Travon Bryant and Arthur Johnson come in here as fat little 19 yr olds and spend 3-4 years working themselves into legit differencemakers.
You're just not gonna see that much anymore. And that's a hell of a shame. That's part of the charm of college basketball.
Now if a guy struggles early and can't get playing time, even if he's developing OFF the court, he'll walk. And you find yourself rooting against him like a scorned ex. That's not what college sports should be about.
Most signs there have seemed positive; I think he announces in a couple days. Lock him up and that gives you 3 top 75(ish) prospects on a class that could conceivably be a 5 man class.
I mean with that and a little luck on some remaining targets, Mizzou could conceivably end up with a top 5-10 class overall.
Now it's Mizzou so you know Lucy will pull the football away somehow, but it's a nice development especially after some really disappointing near-misses out of the transfer portal. [Reply]

I think Dennis Gates is the guy that can end the "because Mizzou" thing for the basketball team. Dude just seems different then every coach from before. Marshall announces on Friday I believe and it's looking pretty good for Mizzou.

Didn't Auburn just sign another big and that seemed to be what put us in the driver's seat? Maybe that was Mississippi State. Seemed like the favorite to land him kinda took themselves out of the running here recently... [Reply]

Looking at recruits I don't think it was Auburn. They don't have a big for this year or next coming in. [Reply]
Was Jarron Coleman any good at Mizzou? Good numbers at Ball State like that he's played in 86 games. Felt like a decent get for Nebraska at this point of the season [Reply]

I have no clue who that is, so I looked him up and it looks like he was here for ClownZo's last season here and I didn't pay a bit of attention that year. Sorry I can't be of more help. [Reply]

I watch Mizzou basketball and I don't know who that is. Could certainly have developed into a player now, but I'm no help here. [Reply]

Boogie.
I wouldn't have recognized him as "Jarron" at all; took me a second to realize he was talking about Boogie Coleman. Came in with a couple other transfers and was supposed to be the deadeye dick shooter of the bunch (the kid from GB was supposed to be the facilitator, IIRC).
He was fine. It was a lousy team and he was probably used a little too heavily. Really really inefficient on offense but fairly solid defender.
As a 6th/7th man, you could do worse. And maybe just being a 3rd/4th option on a bad team didn't give him a chance to showcase where he was strongest. But he wasn't really worth writing home about. [Reply]
BOOM! Peyton Marshall ( @nlmbpeyton ) is coming HME! The 4⭐️ Center is 7’0 300lbs and is ranked 56th in the nation (247). He is the 3rd member of the 2024 class!
