Unless he takes a team friendly deal, they’ll likely let him test the market and let him see his value. He's not worth close to what the highest paid OLB’s are getting. Nor would the Chiefs consider paying him as such.

I guess we need to keep in mind it’s an extension as well. He’s making like 5 million this year, so it’s really 5-years, $77 million if you want to look at it like that. Seems more reasonable.

That’s not how ‘guaranteed’ works.
If he plays 4 years, he’s getting $72 million. If he only gets 50, that’s only gonna be over 3 years.
