The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.
He’s been in some shitty situations, had time to reflect/grow from an outside perspective, and now he’s coming to a team with more pass rushing talent than any he’s been apart of in a decade.
He’s also going to have a bunch of rookie and sophomore talent on that side of the ball to groom. [Reply]

That was never going to happen. Andy wants to turn the D over to someone else, so you know he was going to look for someone he was comfortable with and who has been a DC before. The fact that Spags has been a DC and HC only helped his case along with being on Andy's Philly staff. [Reply]
Why do idiots think that switching to a 4-3 is going to make 2019 a wasted year? It’s not that complicated.
Again, the Chargers did this from 2016 to 2017 and got much better. It’s not about scheme, it’s matching the players you have to the right scheme. Right now, ours fit a 4-3 better than a 3-4 and it’s also easier to find college players out of a 4-3. [Reply]
