The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.

That’s very true, yardage wasn’t bad and our offense fucked us with turnovers as they have all season. But the red zone D is awful, a trip to the red zone can’t be an automatic TD like it is against this team. [Reply]
Yeah I’m not gonna sugar coat this shit. The Chiefs only have 2 games where they had 10 or more penalties and it was both games Carl fucking Cheffers referees.
That’s no surprise seeing as this motherfucker has always fucked us.
This is the same guy Kelce said isn’t qualified to work at a foot locker :-) [Reply]
Bottom line, the defense played just fine. The offense got bottled up for a significant portion of the middle of the game, and again the left defense on the field for pretty much the entire 3rd quarter. 3 straight drives, just one running play by the Chiefs to start the 2nd half. [Reply]

Yes, that’s what I thought. Defense played well, a couple of hiccups, but a solid performance [Reply]

Aside from a couple "penalties" and Thornhill F-ing up a coverage, they were damn good today. [Reply]

'Damned good' might be stretching things a little, but they were more than good enough. LBs are still having some trouble with the underneath routes. Not sure how the safeties played because the broadcast doesn't really show much of that, but I hope they were better than last time.
Overall though, i liked their effort and they made a bunch of smart plays, and got stops when they had to. Bailed out the offense a little in the middle of the game. [Reply]
With 4 first-half sacks today, the Chiefs defense has 53 total sacks on the season. That is the third-most sacks in a single season in franchise history. The mark trails only marks of 54 (1997) and 60 sacks (1990).
