Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I posted this right after the draft, but since this thread could use some content before camp I will re-post this Chris Simms interview about Mahomes. The pick led Simms to label KC as his draft winner. Starts around 1:30 or so.

He's the biggest thing to happen to this franchise in 47 years.... [Reply]

There is absolutely no reason to think that the Chiefs will regress.
I like the Chiefs home schedule, but their away schedule is one of the toughest I've seen in years.
@NE opening night
@Houston who hates our guts
@Oakland traveling halfway across the country 4 days after playing a very emotional physical game vs Pitt.
@Dallas prime slot game. Very tough team.
@NYG elite team IMO. We have never played well there against them
@Denver to close out the season. This will be really tough if we are playing for something [Reply]

7-2 their first nine games.
The back seven, with three of the last four at home.

You can't discount injuries... You never know who will get hurt..
Exactly why no one should be counting the Chiefs in for 10+ wins just yet. Sure, recent history suggests that it might be likely, and the roster is loaded, but there's no guarantee that things play out like we want. There has been a lot of dysfunction with the moves they have made this summer.
This team probably has a 7 or 8 win floor, but I don't think that's near as unlikely as some on here do. [Reply]
