Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.
We need to pass every down that he's in there. So what if the opponent knows it. I'm fine with him eating downs in the passing game -- he's a decent blocker, can run routes, and move the chains if you need a few yards.
...but when Mahomes hands off to the guy, he's no faster than a tight end. Complete wasted down. [Reply]
What the fuck did this guy do over the Bye? He's always been a bit compact but he looked like fucking Mike Tolbert last night, and was somehow more effective than he has been in a long time. [Reply]

God this guy sucks so bad. What the fuck is he doing?
A. Why are you trying to block a DT who is clearly bigger than you and already being blocked by our OL
B. Why do you ignore the blitzing DB?
I miss McKinnon.
Mike Macdonald had the Chiefs’ balls in a vice most of the game. Someone would be very smart to hire him. The more I learn the details of how he’s streamlined the Baltimore system, the more convinced I am that he’ll help on both sides of the ball as head coach. He gets it. pic.twitter.com/5VZaKtbczW

If it can sometimes confuse Mahomes, it can sometimes confuse the RB in pass protection, no?
CEH missed it, but so did Mahomes and the Receiver or it should have been a hot route. That was just a well disguised blitz. The other one folks are giving him shit on, it looks like Trey made the wrong read, as there is no way CEH is responsible for the DT. [Reply]
He didn't dress even last year did he? Hope to see him at the parade. Maybe he will feel like he deserves to be there. Maybe that was why he didn't come last year. [Reply]
CEH has caught grief over the years for underperformance relative to his draft position. He has also caught grief for ghosting the Chiefs SB parade after the '22 win.
I learned only this week that he has some pretty heavy stuff he's dealt with. It was posted in one of the daily camp threads, but basically, in college he and a buddy were meeting up with a guy to sell something (not drugs, nothing nefarious), and the guy tried to rob them. CEH was armed, and ended up shooting & killing the guy in self-defense. He was cleared of wrongdoing and it was a pretty clear case of self-defense. He saved his own life, and his best friend's life, but took someone else's life. It ****ed him up.
He shared on twitter this week that he's dealt with PTSD, and elaborated on it in today's presser. He said in addition to PTSD, he has CVS (Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome) as part of it. When it's triggered he likely has intense nausea, severe pain, and can't stop vomiting. Sometimes he goes to the hospital for it. In a high-stress job like the NFL, especially on the Chiefs, there are probably tons of days where he's dealing with it.
He shouted out the Chiefs staff (Julie Frymeir - what a stud she is - and Rick Burkholder).
Figured I would post this here because I think it adds some context and color to the story of CEH the player that we otherwise wouldn't have had.

Thanks for this info. I saw in a news article this week that he was dealing with PTSD, but I didn't know what the trauma was that he has been dealing with. [Reply]
