With guys like TJ Watt earning $30M per year, getting Gregory for $14M per could be a bargain.:
Elite pass rushers in the NFL get pressure on 14% or more of their pass rush snaps. 16 guys did that in 2021. Min 275 pass rush snaps. Micah Parsons is in a class by himself. data from SISdatahub pic.twitter.com/mibKwfb64Y
Did he bring DeMarcus Lawrence and Parsons with him? What a wild coincidence that he did well in that scenario...wonder why they didn't resign him...he was only $14 mil. [Reply]

Now how about something a little more meaningful?
Playoff win %:
Wilson: .563
Mahomes: .727
Last 5 years:
Wilson: .250
Mahomes: .727
At least the Donks know that if they somehow get that 7th WC spot...they have a 25% chance of winning.
Donks can take comfort in two of his WC wins since 2015...he did storm the Seahawks back from a 9-0 deficit in the 4th to win 10-9 against Bridgewater. He threw for 142 yards 1TD/1 INT and 63 QBR..
And a 17-9 walloping of Eagles back-up Josh McCown....
He beat the Lions too...
So he's had 5 divisional chances and won none...that's a pretty decent sample size to rule out bad luck.

If you’re going to try to cherry-pick right after Wilson’s Divisional round wins, you should specify the “2015 season”, not just “2015”, since he won the divisional round game in January 2015. [Reply]

Cherry picking is now stating he is 0-5 in his last five divisional post-season games? If you want to jump in a time machine...and pretend it's 2013..go ahead.
Ryan won MVP 2016...he's gonna explode in 2022!! I can play the fantasy-land homer game too...
Dont worry, Donk-tards...this time it will be different. I promise. That roster is loaded with all the best non-probowl players in the NFL... [Reply]

If Nick Bonitto is as good as Knowmo claims to be, 6 sacks is not out of the realm of possibility. So why spend $16 million every year for 4 years after this one on him? He’s 30 dude. And he’s missed time his whole career.
Say what you want about Frank Clark but that guy had 32 sacks in his 3 years as a starter in Seattle and was 26 when we traded for him.
Why spend so much on Gregory instead of just getting a guy like Justin Houston for $4 million? Even giving Clowney less money might have been better.
I’m just saying. If you have money swing big like the Chargers did this offseason [Reply]

I’m hoping that the plan is for a heavy rotation between Chubb, Gregory, Reed, Bonitto, Jones, and Browning. I don’t see an A+ guy in there, but there are a lot of decent pass rushers in there that could perform well if kept fresh. [Reply]

Gregory's deal, if it doesn't work out, is essentially just a two-year, $28M deal. Khalil Mack is going to make $27M in 2023 alone, and they had to give up a 2nd round pick to get him.
I'm fine with the risk to reward ratio with Gregory. You can never have too many pass rushers, especially affordable ones. [Reply]

Yes, Carr has 24 4th quarter comebacks, the same as Wilson. Mahomes has 9. The chart in the previous post is playoff 4th quarter comebacks, of which Carr has zero.
No fucking shit. I said TOTAL 4th quarter comebacks. [Reply]

"Big Game Russ"....*belch
Guess we should have stuck with Flacco and his 66.7% playoff win percentage (50% divisional win percentage). Oops. [Reply]
