If "JuJu and Sutton are the same guy", as many of you believe, why didn't Juju make PFF's best contracts of 2022 list?

4. WR Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos: Four years, $60 million (four years, $54 million in cash remaining)

New Denver Broncos general manager George Paton got right to work inking his club’s most important contributors to long-term deals in 2021, none more aptly timed than wide receiver Sutton’s four-year, $60 million extension in November 2021. Twelve wide receivers have signed multi-year extensions for more than $15 million per year since, and several more could do so before Week 1 of the 2022 season kicks off.

Sutton was coming off a breakout sophomore season in 2019 in which his 80.5 receiving grade ranked 13th among wide receivers and his 28 explosive receptions of 15-plus yards ranked 10th. A torn ACL suffered in Week 2 of the 2020 season derailed a promising ascension, but Sutton regained his form right away in 2021 with a nine-reception, 159-yard outing in Week 2. He ultimately dropped just one of 95 targets on the year, and his downfield contested catch ability should marry beautifully with new quarterback Russell Wilson.

Were gifted the Super Bowl is more like it.... He also predicted KC would own Denver, and they do. And he has accurately predicted Denver's record correctly over the past six seasons. So, you can diminish his predictions all you want and concentrate on one year, but I'll take 6 years of dominance and accurate predictions over one year of of inaccurate predictions from him any day. There's a lesson in there for you too.

Of course I'm focusing on one year, the topic at hand is the accuracy of his "Broncos insider" at camp, which would really only give him any information about the team in that specific year. Getting info from the 2015 Broncos training camp would not help him predict the performance of the 2021 Broncos team, which seems to be what you are arguing.

It's clear that PGM predicts that the Broncos will be terrible every year, and he's been right the last 6 years because the Broncos have been terrible. However, he predicted the same thing in 2015 when the Broncos were not terrible. Therefore his "insider info" about the 2022 season can be taken with a hefty grain of salt, because they lead to the same predictions he gives every year.

4 years $60 million for that injury prone loser who can't make the playoffs?

Okay. People like to spend their money on different things, I guess. Whatevs. You do you, Broncos.

I know you are a little reeruned, so let me explain it to you.

Even if JuJu has a huge year, it's only a 1 year deal, and the Chiefs will either have to pay him significantly more or let him walk and get a comp pick.

Sutton is locked up for 4 years, regardless of how big of a season he has.

Do you understand the difference considering those rankings are about contracts?

There were four other players who signed one-year deals who managed to make this list. I guess JuJu isn't better than Jarvis Landry, Melvin Gordon, Melvin Ingram, or Bradley Bozeman either.

Then the list is just fucking stupid. JuJu is so much better than Jarvis Landry, that's just laughable.

I see after ignoring all the praise for the Chiefs draft from PFF, it seems you are back to pretending that PFF is the gospel though! How convenient!

Except, of course, when it comes to Wilson.

#19 per PFF but still elite!

Love his cherry picking.

I've always said that I like PFF's draft coverage/content more than their NFL stuff, but at least I'm consistent.
