The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

How many of the great QBs in NFL history didn't have a championship before they turned 28? And how many of those EVER won one?
Len Dawson didn't win his first NFL Championship until he was 34 though he DID win the AFL championship with Dallas at 27 in 1962. Staubach didn't start playing until he was 27 but won it within 3 seasons (at age 29).
Tarkenton, Moon, Kelly, Marino never won one at all.
You have Elway, Brees, Manning and Young as guys who didn't win a Super Bowl early in their careers. Brees and Young didn't win until they left the team that drafted them. Elway had at least played in 2 before he turned 28.
So really, the only great to go as long as Allen already has without at least winning the Conference to then eventually win a championship with the team that drafted him was Peyton Manning.
Your list is one. One guy. And that guy won 5 MVPs (including winning in his age 27 season) and was known for his precision passing and the fact that he simply rarely took a clean hit. Josh Allen...isn't known for either of those things. In fact, erratic ball placement and exposing himself to contact are the two things he's best known for.
Time is slipping away from the Bills and they don't even realize it.
Buffalo needs to fire McDermott. His defense has choked pretty bad in 4 straight Playoff losses. Belichick is available. [Reply]
There is no debate. Bills fans thinks Allen is better because he trucks linebackers. It’s true that Allen is bigger and physically more gifted. But Mahomes is superior in every other way.
As a passer, Mahomes is more accurate and has made all kinds of throws in crazy circumstances that we have yet to see Allen make.
Even as a runner, Mahomes is craftier and more elusive. But he’s also more strategic.
As a quarterback, Mahomes reads defenses better, sees the field better, and moves around in the pocket better.
As a field general, he has consistently shown more moxie when the game is on the line than any other QB in the history of the game. He inspires his teammates to be better. He is a proven champion.
I like your QB a lot. He might be number two. But he isn’t close to Mahomes. [Reply]
:-) Common Bills fan cope. We've broken them so thoroughly that they post fan fics about Josh Allen being on the Chiefs instead of Mahomes just so they can pretend he'd be as successful. [Reply]
Both QBs have had a coin flip rob them of their chance of winning a playoff game. For one it was just a minor speed bump on the road to 3 Lombardis. For the other it's the peak of their entire career. [Reply]

Personally, I would not use the word “better” - I would use equal.
If Allen was drafted by KC, he has all the rings that Mahomes has. Thats not to say that Mahomes isn’t great - he is. But he was drafted into the BEST possible situation imaginable:
Mahomes was drafted to a team with:
1) A hall-of-fame offensive coach
2) A team with a hall-of-fame pass catching tight end
3) A team with a hall-of-fame wide receiver talent
4) A team that had made 5 of the last 6 playoffs
5) A team that had PLAYOFF wins with Alex freaking Smith
He was drafted to a DREAM scenario.
Allen on the other hand was drafted to a team with:
1) A rookie defensive head coach
2) A team with zero hall-of-famers
3) A team whose best receiver was Kelvin Benjamin
4) A team who missed 18 of the previous 19 playoffs
Allen was drafted into one of the absolute WORST situations.
If Allen & Mahomes switched draft places, Allen would have the rings and Mahomes would be seen as the 2nd best QB in the NFL. Just the way it is.
So yeah, Mahomes is no better than Allen. They’re equals, but Mahomes was lucky enough to be drafted into an elite situation.
Every single season, Bills fans will run down the rosters and say the Bills are equal or better than the Chiefs. And every single year after the Bills lose early in the playoffs and the Chiefs win the Super Bowls Bills fans will say that Mahomes has it easier and doesn’t have to do as much because of the team around him.
Allen still has not beaten a higher seeded team in the playoffs.
Allen accumulates stats in the post season but only because half of his post season games are the wildcard round. Mahomes has rarely played in it but when he does he has torched teams. Despite the much higher level of post season difficulty Mahomes is still a far superior post season QB in wins and stats. [Reply]

What are you a retard?
Mahomes is almost always #1 or #2 seed. He is almost always playing lower seeds than him 🤦🏻*♂️ [Reply]

One thing they point to is post season stats which they somehow have convinced themselves Allen is a better post season QB. It’s bonkers. The stats obviously don’t show that. In top of that Allen’s stats greatly benefit from having a wild card game each season. Half of his games are wild card games. They also have convinced themselves Allen was better in the 13 second game. Another complete fabrication. [Reply]
:-) Imagine being so skull fucked by a rival that you imagine your star QB getting to play on their team just to pretend he'd be as successful. [Reply]

Wouldn't that be a testament to his greatness?
You can't use that stupid "he's never played a road playoff game" shtick anymore, so this is the nonsense you're reduced to. It's really sad and pathetic. [Reply]
