I know Patrick only 29 and I'm going to get flamed for this...

He has a life outside of football and has had several injuries to deal with. He also has been sacked more times this season than any other. His freewheeling style of play is what made him so exceptional and now he's been reduced to a system quarterback.

Since everyone wants to compare him to Tom Brady, go ahead and compare how their family lives differ. Patrick has a wife, three small children and is involved in multiple local activities. He's not a machine and the hits add up. He was absolutely brutalized in the SB and the NFL allowed to stop the narrative that he gets special treatment.

I believe Patrick will recover however as others have said, the 2019 offense will probably never return and that makes me sad. He has taken a step backwards due to the beatings he has taken.

He’s taken a huge mental beating over the past couple years.

I don’t think he’s any worse physically than he’s ever been, but he doesn’t play with that same freedom and supreme confidence that he used to.

Everything used to look like it came incredibly easy to him. And now a lot of that same stuff looks like a huge challenge all of a sudden.

That old guy is still in there and you still see him on occasion, but man it just seems like he needs a mental reset.

JFC Overreaction Planet is in full effect. I'll just stay in the draft section for now.

Good Lord dude, you act like Pat is 1993 Joe Montana. He’s had a flukey knee cap dislocation and a couple of ankle sprains, that he actually recovered from fairly quickly. Everyone in football takes a beating. He’s fine. And, once we address LT and Rice and Worthy are a full go, he’ll be closer to 2018–19 than you think.

You guys need some Prozac. Talk about being prisoners of the moment.

Pat had his worst game of his life but it just happened to be on the biggest game.

If this was a mid season game no one would give a shit. Pat is hyper aware of his legacy and this whole organization is as well. They will restock players around him.

Three years ago, fresh off the playoff loss vs. the Bengals and the Tyreek Hill trade, sports shock jocks began arguing that Patrick was on a Favre/Rodgers trajectory. A quick Super Bowl Championship after entering the league, but someone who ran hot and cold and who was at risk of topping out with one title if the rebuild after Tyreek didn’t go well.

3 years later, and before the age of 30, people are now debating whether or not Patrick is already the 2nd or 3rd greatest quarterback of all time.

Three years from now, I’ll have to remember to check back in on this post.

5 different Left Tackles in 5 Super Bowl appearances across 6 years. Not a sustainable LT situation in my view.

Imo his worst game was against the Titans when we had three points and he got knocked out the game late. The superbowl had a lot of issues that didn't help him clearly. The line and folks dropping balls.

With a few more seconds (maybe one) Pat would have made the throws. HELLO… a blocking fullback. Andy should have played the game in front of him instead of the game in his head.

Failing to make the Playoffs right in the middle of a Dynasty run, which happened to New England in 2002. Why do you want to act like these things did NOT happen? It's really weird.

Playoff games are Playoff games, whether it's the Wild Card round or the Super Bowl. Mahomes has never missed the Playoffs. Never been blown out in the Wild Card, Divisional, or Conference Title games. All of those happened to Brady through the years. Joe Montana lost a Playoff game 49-3 (LOL). But those guys are both perfect right, none of those blowouts in the earlier Playoff games happened. Right? Tom Brady himself would strongly disagree with you. Playoff game is a Playoff game, period.
We are not talking perfection, we are talking career. Brady completely lapped the field for 20+ years both with wins and stats. If Pat is vying to be on the top on the mountain than getting blown out in SBs absolutely hurts him especially since one of them was at the hands of Brady.

To be clear, I’m not a fan of this strategy and think it’s bullshit. I don’t even think it should be legal. That said, it’s going to be hard to keep up with the teams that are willing to use it. I can guarantee you Denver is about to load up like you’ve never seen with Nix on his rookie deal. Payton smells blood and is about to go for the throat. We could barely beat them this year, just imagine if they add 5-6 more supremely talented players this offseason.

It’s going to get a lot harder to expect Mahomes to keep up when he’s simply outmanned week after week, especially with Kelce basically done. He needs a RB and he needs a LT. No expense should be spared to get him those things this offseason. The best you can find, even if you have to overpay a little. That’s all I’m saying.
What do you guys make of this? Mahomes can restructure again. What about the rest?

Good thing “wins and stats” don’t define a GOAT… see MJ.

Also how do you reconcile the fact that Tommy Bitch dumped your shit Faketriots team with your continued obsession with him?

Tommy Bitch left your team in shambles and yet you continue to breathlessly hump his leg.

And don’t use the “I am a Tom Brady fan, not a Faketriots fan” cop out… that is even more embarrassing.

Explain.

1. Mahomes will
2. Thuney is not going to have that number, he will probably get a short extension
3. Jones could if necessary
4. Travis is obviously TBD

Nothing to see there, just a troll trying to make money off a twitter account.
