Alex is spot on, and you could see it Mahomes' eyes. He's beyond exhausted, he can't do it anymore. He can't go beat these teams that are stacking their rosters by basically cheating the cap with nothing but castoff RBs and guards trying to play tackle.
I actually hope his representation sends a message to the Chiefs this offseason. Pat didn't sign such a team friendly deal to go out there and play short handed year after year. Load up like the Eagles and Niners and this dude goes right back to 5,000 yards and 50 TD. [Reply]

I had no stomach for SB Youtube coverage but had KC Sports Network playing in the background while I was doing client calls this morning.
Nate Taylor said Mahomes came off the field on the first or 2nd drive and just said "F&^^^^&".

Same will be true with Mahomes.
Brady’s career is full of mediocrity… 10 year gap of no Super Bowl wins, brutal blowout losses in the early rounds of the playoffs, and out right missing the playoffs.

- Spend 1yr/$7.5, 3yr/$33, and 3/$55 on a few defensemen
- Give a RB a $26 million signing bonus and $40mm deal

Obviously Brady is the GOAT, but he is not perfect. When you dig into the 13 years where he didn't make the Super Bowl, you find quite a few blowout losses in earlier rounds of the Playoffs including on Brady's home field. I cannot imagine Mahomes getting blown out multiple times on his home field in the prime of his career during Playoff games. Failing to make the Playoffs right in the middle of a Dynasty run, which happened to New England in 2002. Why do you want to act like these things did NOT happen? It's really weird.
Playoff games are Playoff games, whether it's the Wild Card round or the Super Bowl. Mahomes has never missed the Playoffs. Never been blown out in the Wild Card, Divisional, or Conference Title games. All of those happened to Brady through the years. Joe Montana lost a Playoff game 49-3 (LOL). But those guys are both perfect right, none of those blowouts in the earlier Playoff games happened. Right? Tom Brady himself would strongly disagree with you. Playoff game is a Playoff game, period.
