Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I think it’s important we take a step back and remember where we were three years ago. The memes after Patrick’s collapse against the Bengals were brutal.
If we were told back then that Mahomes would make the next 3 Super Bowls, win 2, put every other active QB in the rearview and match Brady’s Super Bowl record at 36 seven years ahead of schedule, all of us would have taken that deal. [Reply]

It’ll be a tough offseason, for sure. We’re going to be reminded of this loss very frequently at every turn.
The only way to shut them up is to get back to winning. Simple as that.
It’s wild to see Patriots fans jump out of hiding to celebrate and attack Mahomes.
I didn’t realize how protective they are of Brady’s legacy… especially considering he dumped their shit team. [Reply]

Tbh, I expect that from them.
What I wasn’t prepared for are the neutral fans who are jumping in to tear Pat down and pump up Brady. You know a ton of these Redditors and Instagram/Facebook commenters are, like, Jets and Vikings fans. Why tf are they jumping in to defend Brady? THAT is weird af. [Reply]

These guys are all haughty pricks and they got it from Belichick. It's pretty much a universal character trait of theirs.
Of COURSE they're taking victory laps now.
Actually it seems like a lot of the Patriot players including Brady have been pretty supportive of the Chiefs. They know what it’s like to have the whole world cheering against them. Obviously not the case with Patriot fans, who lack self-awareness. [Reply]

Brady has a cult of worshipers. Lots of opposing teams fans like him. [Reply]

I think it is more watching Mahomes get blown out in 2 SBs, one courtesy of Brady that has people realizing just how great Brady is/was. It was also pretty sweet having him commentate on the SB as the Chiefs got pummeled. :-) [Reply]

Brady is great but he didn't need to do much in that SB.
That win was the Tampa D dominating the Chiefs backups and reshuffled OL. [Reply]

Rather get blown out in a sb than miss the playoffs a year after they won the sb like Brady did in 02 [Reply]

Or get blown out multiple times on your home field in the Playoffs, which happened to the Brady Patriots even though people want to act like his team never had lousy games in the Playoffs. [Reply]
