Had an NFC Personnel executive tell me “He reminds me of J.J. Watt, when Watt was coming out. An explosive and versatile playmaker who has a high motor and can line up at 3,5, or 7. Very strong kid” #NFL#NFLDraftpic.twitter.com/5qM3g6OrMr
I don't think there was ever a question that Spags would love the guy. Apart from having slightly shorter arms, he seems like exactly what Spags is looking for in his DEs.
I wouldn't have expected him DE1, but it's not all that shocking either. That's a Spagnuolo guy through and through. [Reply]

I'm sure he meant that they had a legit chance at getting. [Reply]

I love the McD pick. He's the opposite of Peters - plays smart and takes advantage when the opportunity is there. Doesn't have to gamble because he can actually track the ball and get in position to win. Great in zone and can play man as well. Can be used a number of ways.
The Greek wouldn't have been my pick but it's not a disaster either. High motor, high effort, and has options if we change coords or to a 3-4 down the road.
I think the bust possibility for either of these guys is as close to 0 as any pick in round 1.
Now we need to take Cam Thomas in round 2... [Reply]
