BTW, my prediction for PM15 is that he has a similar career drop just like Brady...I think PM15 is going to slip back to being a good but not great QB in the next few years as he focuses on his family (which is candidly way more important than football as we all know) and you will see him not have the success he once had (similar to what Brady encountered for a different reason). Brady had to learn to play QB at an elite level (after his initial super bowls that were delivered by his defense), while I see PM15 regression not due to him learning to play the position (like Brady had to), but rather due to family / personal reasons. I think he is such a great dude that he is going to enjoy being a dad and that will take some focus away from him. No other amazing QB (Brady, Montana, Staubach, Bradshaw, Aikman, etc.), started a family early in their career like PM15 has done but to me it is what makes PM15 so darn great...his qualities in life go way beyond what you see on the field and his desire to be a great husband and dad will take a small toll on his QB play (it has to a bit).

This said, he is so young and when he reaches 35 (and is ready to win a few more rings), he will do it when others could not and you will see a few more rings come KC's way...this is my prediction.

He’s not just a great athlete—he’s an inspiration to kids, a role model on and off the field. He works hard, carries himself with class, and has brought so much excitement and joy to the game. What more could people possibly want? It’s baffling that someone at the top of their game can still attract so much negativity.

I genuinely hope the Chiefs win the next Super Bowl, and Mahomes walks away with another MVP. Not just because he deserves it, but because it would be the ultimate response to all the unwarranted criticism.
I agree 1000% and everyone in the NFL (and fans) owe PM15 a huge thanks for carrying the league with such class...it is such a crap thing for folks (and the media) to do, but as a Christian the one thing I know is this world is broken and evil and you are seeing that in how the world has responded to such an amazing man like PM15. My advice to PM15 - continue to fight the good fight!!! We (true fans) love you man! We love what you do off the field more than what you do on the field and never change!!! Let the evil bury their own dead (there is so much evil in this world so just be the light PM15)!

You see similar stuff with Lebron...he has really never screwed up in life (sure he gets sometimes political but he is such a great dude - especially compared to Jordan who was a prick, gambler, womanizer, just not a good dude at all)...but Lebron gets all this hate even though he is 200% the better man than Jordan (just like how PM15 is compared to Brady...just a way better human!!).

We love you PM15!

As long as 15 has protection, he can get things done at MVP level with decent pass catchers

We already know this. Which is why it is staggering that we went into this camp with no real solution at left tackle.

Should have never let OBJ walk. We don't need a hof left tackle just someone that won't get Pat killed.

Interestingly, we've gone on to lose in the playoffs after beating Buffalo 3 out of the 4 times we've beaten them (with only last year being the exception in the divisional round). There may be something to the idea that we have to throw everything at that team in order to beat them.

Same thing has happened to LeBron for a decade and a half (entire careers were built on hating the guy on TV for the most insignificant of things, see Skip Bayless), so I'm used to it by now. The media creates their sports villains and Mahomes has become one due to his sheer unprecedented success. Be prepared for that to continue as long as he plays.

The shift towards league villain for Mahomes in particular really started in earnest after the Bills loss where Toney lines up offsides. Made himself look like a bit of a jackass in the post game with Allen and combined with general Chiefs fatigue it's followed him ever since.

needed 1 more second

This is early in the 2nd half. Worthy and Brown stack at the top with a yo-yo motion for Brown. Noah Gray takes the attention of the left Saftey, and Worthy runs wide open down the field. Mahomes feels the collapse, even though there's no "immediate" threat. Runs into a sack pic.twitter.com/DAoT5Grdrb

Brady made himself look like a jackass on the field all the time. Hyper competitive people tend to behave like that when things don't go their way.

In the end, it comes down to how dominant he and the Chiefs have been.

I'm gonna ignore the Orlando situation and focus on an easier option. Donovan Smith was available for cheap. He helped this team win a championship last year. Patrick trusted him in those Playoff games a year ago. And the team just let Donovan sit there on the couch instead of giving him a call, especially when it became obvious there was a problem with Kingsley & Wanya at the LT spot.
