Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

That's one way to put it. The other would be that it was a complete accident and fluke. He's not the first quarterback to throw a pick or attempt a tackle after doing so. [Reply]

He was playing like a fucking retard. Full stop. What was it, his 5th interception in 4 games on stupid YOLO balls? [Reply]

I think we’ll all agree that no regular season game is worth Mahomes trying to make another tackle on a pick.
He could just as easily get injured himself and you KNOW there are defensive players looking to destroy him on a block. [Reply]

Quarterbacks throw picks, yes. It does happen on occasion, particularly when you have a LT who can't play the position at a NFL level. [Reply]

I'd like him back.
I’d like to see Brown, Worthy, and Rice have a full season together.

If I remember right, Kelce was open enough on that play. The ball just sailed about 6 feet higher than Mahomes wanted it to. No QB throws a perfect ball every single time. He compounded the problem by attempting to make the tackle, leading to Rice's injury. Very dumb move from Patrick trying to play defense. [Reply]

Just jog off the field unless it’s a postseason game that’s in doubt.
Nothing good will come from getting in there.
Shit, look at how Goff got blown up in the Playoffs. All sorts of defensive players are looking for a chance to do that. [Reply]
Just went back and watched them since I'm in a salty enough mood. 1 of them was just a good play, 1 of them was an absolutely idiotic decision to throw under duress right into a defenders hands (sounds familiar) and 3 of them were just botched passes from completely clean pockets. [Reply]
